Read, Dream, Become

Read, Dream, BecomeRead, Dream, Become

At Community Book Project, we believe in the transformative power of literacy to shape brighter futures for Seattle youth.

Give the Gift of Literacy

During this season of giving, help us reach our year-end goal of $7,000. This will allow us to give 1,000 kids the gift of literacy in 2025.

When children have a home library, with as few as 20 books of their own, they achieve three more years of schooling than children who don’t have any books at home.

WeAreTeachers

Our community-driven organization is committed to fostering brighter futures through literacy. With a focus on enhancing kindergarten readiness and advancing educational success, we strive to instill a love for learning among underserved youth aged 0-11 in Seattle. By delivering culturally diverse and developmentally appropriate books, we bridge educational gaps and nurture thriving, empowered individuals. We believe that every child deserves access to high-quality books that reflect their diverse backgrounds and experiences. Through our efforts, we aim to empower children to become curious, lifelong learners who are equipped to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
